Etsuko the hamster is dazzled by a mysterious stranger who flies into Bottlenose Bay one day. She longs to fly like Flittermouse the bat and she won’t be put off when she is told by her friends that hamsters cannot fly.
But with a dream, a lot of determination and a little help from her friends, Etsuko discovers that anything is possible.

I loved working on this book, because it was the first time in years that I had a full time editor – the wonderful Alice Corrie.
